What to Check First When Your Brand Doesn’t Show Up in AI Answers

AI answers are not a fixed advertisement board. First, check whether there is enough publicly available information and whether there is an official page the AI can refer to.

First to check: Is official information visible?

Google explains that AI Overviews and AI Mode show relevant links based on the search index and core search quality systems. In other words, for AI answers to include you, there needs to be information that can first be found on the web. (developers.google.com)

• Is the company name, service name, and region clearly written on the homepage?
• Are there pages for About, Contact, and FAQ?
• Is the same name used to introduce the business on other sites as well?

For example, if someone searches for “Seoul Gangnam skin care,” but the homepage has no location information at all, it may be difficult for AI to connect the brand. This is not a guarantee issue; it is a common situation when there are too few clues to reference. (developers.google.com)

Two things to check when the answer looks empty
